I have modded the normal channel of my Vibrolux Reverb clone.
Although tighter, it is rather bright even with the treble pot off.
Here are values:
330pf 250kB 100k slope resistor
.1uf 500kA
.047uf separated with fixed 47k
.001uf off bass/treble pot junction to ground
No deep switch, rock mode
Are these tone stacks brighter than a Fender?
Any thoughts on changes?

Re: Vibrolux dumble mod
Change the mid cap to .01 and perhaps the slope resistor to 150k, that'll raise the frequency of the mid range dip. If you're not using LNFB you might want to lower the treble cap to 270p or 250p also. It's just a matter of tuning it to what you like.

Re: Vibrolux dumble mod
Thanks. I started with .01 and 150k and it was even brighter.
LNFB? Negative feedback?
I was thinking of tuning the .001/10k RC off of the bass/treble pot junction.
I have changed the treble cap on other mods. Although it makes a difference, I don't think it is the total "fix". I'll give it a try though.
