Our washing machine froze up.

It's in the garage and dang, I should have known as it was getting down around 25 in the garage.

Stuck a 60w light bulb inside and it thawed out so we could use it.

That happened to an old set we had and when it froze it broke the water inlet solenoid......

We've had the drain freeze on ours before - water all over the floor as soon as you run a load of laundry.

It was -9° this morning, and I'll be working outdoors today and tomorrow. This is the time of year when I really hate my job.

I've been strongly thinking that I'm getting too old for this working outdoors crap. It used to be an adventure, but it quit being fun a few years ago.
