new Dumble rig finished

Post by norburybrook »

well I thought I'd finish off my 124 to 102 build with the EVM-12L ported cab into one final post.

here it is chaps(are there any women here?)

50w #102 in '80's style cab ( no cross bar) and Larry carlton EVM cab

a proud moment for me as this is the first time I've made everything in a build. I'd never made boards before or done any cabinet work so it's been a learning curve.

Re made the original cab I'd done with the dumbleator inside.I chopped it in half and cut out a section to bring it back to the proper height. Re tolexed to match the cab. still a few rough areas I need to hone my technique on but not bad for a first effort.

I like how your beige covering goes well with the diamond grill cloth.
Enjoy italy. If you go to Rome visit the Trevi Fountain and pretend you are Marcello Mastroianni with Anita Ekberg by your side!

Cheers
