RJ, how ever did you do the front panel lettering? It looks like a dremel with the ball, except it's too clean and even. Some kind of template? I know if i tried it i would be making another front panel and looking for my dymo labeler. Good job!

This was done with a laser. In this case the wood is really soft and the laser just sorta blasts away the letters and the bottom of the grooves are not that dark. As I get more used to the amp I am starting to enjoy it a little more and I'm inspired to do a little more with the cabinet to make it look a bit more finished.

Thanks for that rj... You didn't report any trouble with squealing so I assume I may have something wrong with my iteration. If the values match it may be a proximity related issue. On to the chopsticks as xtian mentioned before.

Tony, nope, no squealing on this unit. This is one of the quietest amps I've built and I can't really say I can complete explain that. I talked about my grounding scheme earlier which seems to have been a successful. I also used a lot of coax wire to move the signal between stages and maybe that is part of it as well.

Coax... Maybe I need more. I always try to use as little of it as possible. Also, my build is quite a departure from any of HAD's layouts. That could be it.
