So much so he also used this R.C Filter on the grids of his Dumbleators and in the effects loop (250pf)
Would this be something that could be switchable? Would the switch have the full 200-ish volts on it?
As a Treble cap (with voltage applied) Dumble does make it switchable as part of his "Mid boost" feature.
on his Skyliners. The 500pF across the grid resistor has no voltage on it so switch away.

I use the same darker Ceramites that Erwin uses. Thanks for the tip bro, these do sound excellent to me.
I left the cap out in my #94 based amp. I feel it made the amp considerably darker, though any real effect is only to be expected in the from 5kHz and up IIRC. It might be that the 1meg trimmer and high frequency taper made the amp a tad darker too though That is much outside the scope of this thread though.
I did Charlie. Looks correct too as this value is clearly shown in the pictures of #94. I placed the hf taper right after the 150k resistor, so on lug 3 of the ratio pot. That should be correct. IIRC Gregor measured the resistance to ground and it should be around 100k. Might have been someone else who measured though. So it's al low pass filter with a corner frequency of 38 Hz IIRC. To me that looks like a way to compress the signal a bit, not so much to shave off excess high end. What's your view on that matter?
