New Product Announcement
Hi All,
Just released is the VT9A PC Board. Solders to the terminals of a standard Belton Micalex, 9-Pin Noval socket. Two solder pads for each terminal. Ties pins 4 and 5 together and runs a trace across the bord and lands two pads right next to pin 9 for easy filament wiring:

Re: Luigi Retro Custom
Thanks for you interest, Aurora!
Yes, I ship outside the USA. I only ask that you do not place your order on the website. Rather, send me an email to Sales@LuigiRetro.com telling me your country, city, and postal code, as well as what boards(s) and quantity(s) you are interested in. I will give you a shipping quote and if all looks good to you, I will prepare a PayPal invoice and email it to you.
Ciao,
Lou

Any electronics supply, e.g, Mouser, Digikey.
I build and repair tube amps. http://amps.monkeymatic.com
Re: Luigi Retro Custom
There's always someone....
So my thinking is these preamp tube PCBs are a great idea, Luigi. But. Looking at a Fender amp and all the amps that followed it, it seems to me that the trace that runs from pins 4/5 and sits next to pin 9 would be better served if the heater wires exited on the 4/5 side of the tube - away from the wires coming off the circuit board. This way the heater wires are placed away from potential filament AC interference. With me?
And of course this can't be done because the PCB takes advantage of the empty space between pins 9 and 1.
However... the builder could just reverse the tube orientation and swap pins 1-2-3 for pins 6-7-8.

Most people stall out when fixing a mistake that they've made. Why?

Hi Rooster. That's actually exactly how I use them. I swap pins 1-2-3 for pins 6-7-8

Re: Luigi Retro Custom
You can easily cut the traces and use them the way you suggest. That’s what I do for EL84s.

I received these this past week, nicely packaged set of 10. The traces are really nice, quality work!

Re: Luigi Retro Custom
I have to give props to Luigi for helping me with my pcb board. If you need any help with pcb’s for your amp contact him. He was very easy to communicate with and as a beginner that was very helpful to me. Thanks Lou

Re: Luigi Retro Custom
Is the bias diode symbol pointing in the right direction?
Re: Luigi Retro Custom
Yeah, I missed a few things when I got sent the review copy of the board. I need to add some text also for caps and a pad. I might add reference designators to the board also but I’m not sure about that. Lou did recommend only ordering the minimum of 5 boards in case I needed to change something later.
