I know this is an old topic to resurrect but is probably the best place for this question.

According to the TW pages, In Europe a 250V MOV is recommended.

Would this one be suitable ?

VARISTOR, 65.0J 250VAC
Case style:Radial; Current, peak 8/20us max:4500A; Energy, transient:65J; Series:StandarD; Suppressor type:Varistors; Voltage rating, AC:250V; Voltage rating, DC:320V; Voltage, clamping max:650V;
