Isn't that the amp jelle posted about earlier (the thread is gone now)
For $120k you would want the officially approved HAD knobs.

OP on TGP says it is the same stuff as on the Arctic Cat Panther.M Fowler wrote:Reminds me of the seat on my old Arctic Cat Panther snowmobile.
And he has extra.

I have one of those too, 1973 wankle engine Panther, it still runs but the suspension is shot. Im sure its worth almost as much as the ODS!Teleguy61 wrote:OP on TGP says it is the same stuff as on the Arctic Cat Panther.M Fowler wrote:Reminds me of the seat on my old Arctic Cat Panther snowmobile.

Yes it is and it is legit. Sounds great. One owner, lived in a home studion. The owner supplied the tolex to mr Dumble. Superb condition. I have never seen another from that era that looked this good and well preserved.Aaron wrote:Isn't that the amp jelle posted about earlier (the thread is gone now)

Back for sale at $89k. Lower price as Dumble's have risen in price in recent years...

Re: Dumble on TGP - this is a weird one
I wonder if mr. Dumble will require any future owner to sign his contract? I know he did when an ODS sold on the auction site not too long ago.
Is that legally valid, anyway?
like could he block the sale of his units if the potential buyer refused to sign it?

That looks familiar!
BTW, that Dumble sounds great. The new owner will be very lucky to have it.

Re: Dumble on TGP - this is a weird one
If you've ever wondered what it would be like if a guy named Mick Taylor who is not that Mick Taylor was briefly allowed to play through this amp, and spent most of the time plugged into the FET input in between offering observations such as "it's bigger, it's bolder, it's faster, it's quicker [faster and quicker! Wow!], it's more bassy, it's more trebly, it's more middley," and that turning up the master volume more and more miraculously makes the amp louder and louder, here you go: https://youtu.be/sKunm4Z1IXA
Re: Dumble on TGP - this is a weird one
Sure am glad he decided to tell us ALL about it. I forgive him because he can play. Just cut out all the talking bits.
I build and repair tube amps. http://amps.monkeymatic.com
Re: Dumble on TGP - this is a weird one
Well it has very nice tone clean and on overdrive the new owner must be very happy I know I would be.
Ok if you watch and listen he does say he is only using the delay pedal and while you can see the klon in the clips it's not being used.
Ok I guess Mick was a little excited you don't get a chance to play through these amps in England there's probably only a few in the country

Re: Dumble on TGP - this is a weird one
So what are the specs of this amp? High plate, skyline?
Re: Dumble on TGP - this is a weird one
The former owner on TGP said it was a highplate classic.Mr. dB wrote:So what are the specs of this amp? High plate, skyline?
