Well on another forum, the question was asked if it was a spoof or satire site.
A seemingly knowledgeable person said that he didn't think so as he knew of people that had purchased items from there.
So more of a audiophool site.

I'm just thinking that if these pebbles start selling big time, a few more trips out to Glass Beach, Fort Bragg, might be in order...
Maybe we just need to drag our amps out to the beach!!!

Holy shit! $60 to call you up and play clicks over the phone for 20 seconds... Brilliant! If it was me making the call, the customer would here clicks over the phone as well as barely stifled laughter in the backgroundlord preset wrote:Machina Dynamica has been around for years. It's a both a spoof on audiophile lunacy and a scam, in that they apparently actually sell to whoever is idiotic enough to send them money. Brilliant. The website is a hoot, especially this:

That's what makes it so great. Its an audiophool site AND a satire site. Unless the proprietor is simply mentally ill which is a much less amusing thought.Structo wrote:Well on another forum, the question was asked if it was a spoof or satire site.

Speaking of which I'm thinking of going into business to sell amp blankets. You know the kind that you put on the amp, then you pop in a untested "NOS" tube you got off eBay, or swap out a tranny for a high $ Mercury Magnetics "upgrade" model of unknown specs. Then you take the blanket off and the amp sounds like a blanket was taken off the amp - because it was.
Let me know if you are interested. I'm thinking Tartan blankets for Marshalls, Army surplus wool for Tweeds. Maybe shearling for D-style to go with the suede/animal skin theme. Not sure where to go with Trainwecks though...
