Super nice. Looks and sounds great. I don't think I've ever seen bluedrops.

Sounds great!
I found the low filter on mine to be quite subtle also.
I'll be posting pics of my SSS 002 soon.

Sounds good Chip, looking forward to seeing it.

Shamadan, the chassis is a 20 x 8 x 2.5, and the preamp tubes were 1" apart edge to edge, but I had zero issues with noise. Just a little hiss at full tilt.

That's a good question, I forgot about this one ;)
I believe they are Beyschlags I got off Ebay.

Yes, Beyschlag 1W metal film. They have a clear sound to them.

Ebay, ok, will look there. I am running low on my stock on some values.

Thanks Tony. Great amp, I remember having to fiddle with the values around the reverb mixer to get it strong enough for customer.
Jelle please shoot me a note if you find some, I'm low too ;)

wow what a beautiful build!
What value of trim pot did you use for the bottom of the CF? lastly are the 220K resistors off v7's plates tied to the grids? its hard to tell in the drawn schematic.
Im using a different circuit for the LTPI and CF and I want to try this setup out.
