Great idea!
Re: Proposal to the members of a new moderator
Thank you for the support, gentlemen. And it's great to see some of the Olde Guard coming out of the woodwork to post. Hope to see you guys more regularly.

No brainer. The job shouldn't have to fall on just one person. Get it done! And thank you for offering, Dave.
Edit: I was so focused on one thing, I ignored the other. So sorry about that. Phil, wishing you a speedy recovery. I have a feeling it won't be easy, but it will be worth it in the end.

Cheers, thanks,
AS they said in belgium, which I think is 'close' to dutch (and I'm probably butchering the spelling since I never saw it written)
Dank ur Fell!

Re: Proposal to the members of a new moderator
So it sounds like a resounding "Hear Hear!" I'll get it done.
I'm going to de-mod some of the non active mods too, but I'll restore them if they ever come back asking. I see no reason to confuse people with a long list of mods that don't

Thanks guys. I'll try not to let you down too badly
I started by culling all of the outdated posts in the For Sale section. AmpGarage used to have thriving commerce between friends and members, and I would like to see that restored. We will have to work around the broken PM system, but that should not be a problem. I will regularly police this section up to keep it free of clutter. I am going to bump a lot of the remaining F/S posts so members can see them and make a decision to keep them going, or, if there is no response, I'll take them down. If I pull down your sale and you want it reposted, please PM me and I will restore it.
Also, I plan to do some housekeeping in the archival sections so that we preserve our legacy of good documentation for the iconic amps and builders we admire.
Cheers,
Dave
