One super small correction I tracked down is the placement of one of the legs on the .1uf in the phase inverter causing a low-level hum that wouldn't get louder with the gain/master sweep. Rafael helped with a super deep dive into ground loop troubleshooting however it turned out to be a simple mistake on my end. I'm glad I did the hybrid eyelet design with this PCB! Sounds like a dream and shakes the house with strong bass!

Fast forwarding a lot quicker than I anticipated... Confirmed build! Sounds great with everything added up! Voltages are in line with the original units and I'm going to let it burn in a while and I'll measure again. I guess that means the boards are good too! The PCB was nice to work with. I did remove and replace a few resistors (I got some NOS stuff in) and the boards held up wonderfully with rework. As always, TAG is such a wealth of knowledge that I'm happy to share back. I'll create a BOM and layout over the next couple of weeks with the corrected values as a foundation.

Thanks, man! I appreciate your kind words! I have faceplates on the way for Ceriatone's chassis for an additional cost. (Not everyone needs the faceplates so it made sense for me to separate them out)

I have a Ceriatone chassis coming in the mail to confirm my faceplate designs and then I'll put them up for sale. I'm thinking $65 for the set which is right around what the Ceriatone faceplates cost.

For cabinets, there are a few choices for D-style cabinets including Ceriatone, eBay, Amplified Nation, Guitar Cabinets Direct, etc. I think there are a few in the UK as well. Since this amp has reverb, the taller the cabinet the better. The original is 11" high wood-to-wood

Hey Ryan, Thanks for your comments, I have received the PCB board!YEY! I'm looking forward to your updates in terms of the Ceriatone Chassis and faceplates, layout, so I can pull the trigger. In addition, as I am a beginner on amp building, I'm was looking at the documentation that you have posted on the PCB boards page on your website, and I saw you have a mouser bom as WIP as well, and I was wondering if still in progress? or is good to go and proceed to buy those components to start buildind? Lastly, are you putting toguether any other bom for the rest of amp parts such as transformer, tubes, capacitors etc, as you did with the 002? sorry, a lot of questions, I'm wrapping my head around how/where to start!

I have the Ceriatone chassis on the way and I have the faceplates for them on-hand so I'll check it as soon as it comes in. I am also going to share the PDF for anyone who wants to make their own faceplates instead of using mine. Of course, it'll be up to you to work with a faceplate manufacturer to get it in their specific specs if you go the custom route. Everyone prefers something different based on their setup.

great job .... congratulations. I have already built 4 JM amps by mediating between the Ceriatone lay-out and the news I found on TAG.

I bought the signal card and the PS card from you and they arrived today, once again great job.

This time I would like to build "my JM" and keep it. As I have done the other times I will buy a chassis from Tube Town and I will drill all the necessary holes but this time I would like it to look more like Two Rock than a traditional Dumble.

I can ask you if you made the face plates for your amplifier or if there is a drawing of these. It would be really cool if there was a drawing of where the holes are drilled on the chassis.

Interesting use case! The PDFs are 1:1 so you could technically print them out at 1:1 scale and drill what you want. The faceplate material I have is .08mm and it's just thin enough to use without thread issues in the pots

Sure Ryan and thanks, certainly I explained myself badly, I meant the holes for the transformers, the valves, the standoffs. No problem anyway, apart from the first chassis purchased by Nik, for the other chassis I made the holes starting from this file "chassis_holes_guide_1v1_752.pdf" but I don't remember where I found it anymore ...... maybe in some discussion here on TAG.
