strange v1 voltages

I was using a few old RCA 12AX7s I had laying around not too long ago and I had the same problem. Turns out the tubes had gotten some grease or something on the contacts. If that's the case, cleaning out the socket and the tube itself with some contact cleaner ought to fix the problem.

sounds way better! o.k. now for the pi - is 110K and 120K the best if there is no place for a trimmer?
