Other than the guys on the this forum this is the only place I have seen vector boards unclad for sale or to custom order per spacing.

I have not seen unclad perf board at McMaster. There is G10 noted.

I did that once... it really ate up my drill bit but it worked O.K.... it was a royal pain too.gearhead wrote:Are you going to make your own perforated boards?
It did inspire me to go to the machine shop and have the replica board made... they told after the fact that the CNC machine got pretty bored and they thought I should just figure out which holes mattered and forget all the unused ones...
I've since found several pieces of original Vectorbord although it's not near as pleasant to work with as the replica... it's 40 years old and is a bit brittle.
Modern G-10 is the answer for availability, durability, flexibility, and doesn't smell awful when you solder against it... it would just take a difficult mental shift to embrace green G-10 perf board.

Re: where to get Perforated board
RJ's boards look good, and he's got nothing but glowing approval from transactions here on this board. I think it would be hard to go wrong there.
However, another guy who we know over in the Marshall-esque end of things is: http://www.kurtsequipment.com/reproboards/
His boards are perfed as well (or un-perfed if you like, I guess), and although he wasn't doing custom sizes a little while back, I believe he is now able to handle most requests.
