the silver mica treble cap is out of the amp now (replaced it with a 330 pF silver mica), is labelled 510 pF, and looks unlike any of the caps available
these days.I have several caps from different manufacturers, my favourites are made by CDE I believe, and they all look different.Maybe when I get around to it I will post a picture of the cap, some of the guys here might know what it is.
So marcos, do you prefer the 330pf? Does it make a marked difference? If so, how would you describe the change?

Finally got it all cleaned up and in a cab.
I like my playing to be subtle and tasteful.....and my amps to be neither!

In my case, I just made the cab to fit the chassis pretty tightly. I use the front aluminum trim strip as a front stop, and put the same trim on the back panel as a back stop. The amp doesn't actually bolt in at all, it just slides into place and is held there by the trim strips. Probably wouldn't do it that way if I was gonna sell it, but this one won't travel much. That said, it's in there good and tight, and it comes out easy. Important seeing as my amps always spend a lot of time on the bench anyway.

Very similar, except that Mr. D ran the screws through the top of the cab, outside the side walls of the chassis, then secured them to a lip underneath. The Nach chassis's don't quite have enough lip to pull this off.

if the bolts do secure to the lip... how much longer does the chassis need to be .. or move in the walls how far and still make it all work?
