Friends? No. I'm allergic to insincerity. There's also no apology for me to accept, but that's neither here nor there.

Civility? I'm civil as is actually merited. I'm not sure why you felt it necessary to pick a fight, or how you could perceive how you framed an unnecessary lecture as anything but that.

I don't mind being wrong--it's an excuse to learn something. I don't mind discussion--in fact, I actually quite adore discussion. I love learning. I love helping people with their projects--that's why I'm here, and that's why I'm participating in this thread. Why are you posting?

What don't I love? Being singled out, critiqued (in a formal academic sense, in a non-academic environment), and attacked--for absolutely no useful reason.

I also fucking hate celery.

CBass, I've done absolutely nothing to disrespect you and I completely don't understand your need to threaten physical violence or continue on by resorting to homophobic statements; they're not going to get you anywhere with me or really anywhere--other than potentially sued and/or imprisoned.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you didn't see what was posted before the editing and deleting started. I kept everything up because deleting/editing was cowardly. Nor have I "run my mouth."

I know you're going through a lot; it looks like you feel the need to vent your frustrations at me. That's not okay.

Nobody cares--exactly... except for the people who needed to revive a dead thread and sling more mud. Oh, right--that wasn't me at all.

I'm gonna tell you one thing right now. Listen real close . it will change your life. You ain't near as smart as you think you are your arrogance is most likely why your in the situation you're in now.
I meant every word I said the only reason I deleted the part about stompin your ass is because that's something that should only be said to ones face.

Thanks for the admission of destruction of incriminating statements, which are now preserved with screen shots. On the small chance I need to bring legal action, this really has just become a done deal.

But seriously, Cbass, I don't understand where your hostility is coming from. I've tried to help you with this project, and the majority of my posts in this thread were for the benefit of your project.

If you feel the need to insult me because you're feeling insecure, that's more about you than it'll ever be about me.

I'm struggling to see why you continue to try to fan flames which were otherwise nonexistent.

I was thinking the same thing...

So, how's the MOSFET them circuit coming, cbass? Are you making any inroads to getting one wired up?

Nah Lou I've pretty much ababnoned it on this project . I rigged up a temporary powers supply and the amp sounds very very good . had to put a ay7 in v1 to tame this thing . its basically a Princeton reverb with tweed tone control 7591 outputs and the univox trem. Which I don't quite understand how it works it has a standard oscillator then a 12au7 wired as a diode I think? All I know is some 12au7s won't work and I went through several. To find one that didn't hum. Then it wiggles the signal I tried inecting the trem on various points on the circuit and now have on the grid of the stage driving the pi.
This schematic is very close to trem circuit im using. Very choppy. http://www.4tubes.com/SCHEMATICS/Music- ... x/1221.gif
I'm gonna make a new board and try to build the same amp but hopefully a little more roadworthy
