Of course the main reason for this my first post is to wish Scott a speedy recovery. I felt very relieved after reading his post and I could not hold off on keeping quiet and wishing him well.
I guess this event has changed my status from a third year lurker to active duty. I have learned a lot and there is not enough THANKS that I can give to everyone in this great forum.
Perhaps its time I start helping the newbies so the pros can take a well deserved rest. I will help with the easy things (answering questions like: what is HRM? or high & lo plate? etc.), while the pros can keep on helping us all with their vast experience on the more technical subjects were their input becomes a necessity.
Cardiologist just gave 100% fine diagnosis regarding no effect on heart at all. That is always the concern with pericarditis.
Other than a persistant low grade fever (99.4 now), all is ok.
Oh, other than my scary vampire eyes (also both black and blue). Coughed so violently when they took the breathing tube out post surgery, that I blew the capillaries on both eyes. Freaky looking... Lasts about 2 weeks.
