101 schem-component Q?
In the 101 schem (non-HRM) there is a 100K resistor from the wiper of the Master to the Preamp Out jack. Is this essential and considered authentic, or a possible tweek (optional)? I don't remember seeing it on layouts posted. I did not include this in my amp, I think because I did not determine where it should be placed in the layout, or where it would be in an original like #124 etc. Any recommendations for or against? Thanks.

I've seen that too, same question. With the 100K it seems a tad darker overall, but I took it out of my amp.

The 100k is a non original 'tweak' probably originating from a TUT idea and should be left out.

Thanks for the responses. Yes, it seems that the series resistor will slightly reduce the highs. Not something I need, I'll ignore it.
