Lil Rig Music Man

Post by talbany »

Pulled the little Music Man out of the cab to play around with it and shot a few pics while Ihad it out.. This was an early prototype to my X-Models..Right now it's running 2 JJ KT77's..Dual bias pots & OD trimmer on back chassis size Hammond 12x8x2.. I'll get some clips out soon.. Got any questions be glad to answer..

LOL... I did a D-Clone in a Princeton chassis... not a Princeton Reverb.

Yeah, it's amazing when build something like that and it isn't noisy.

Cool!!.. What are you running 2 6V's?..How does it sound..Those are fun builds.. We did something kinda similar a while back in a Princeton chassis with a loop and mounted a holy grail inside called it the Blue plate Special (Blue tolex).. LOL!!..Everybody who played it loved it..

Yes 6V's. I used a Deluxe Reverb OT and it sounds great through an EVM12L. The head cab is tiny so I can put it in a suitcase and carry it on an airplane. I even added a passive effects loop using a stereo jack so I can connect it to the Dulator. 8)

Not to mention the faceplate

Ok, that was an early pic as I was just fitting the faceplate. It's been done for years now. It has a cool green jewel now

I hear ya on tight....how bout an ODS champ...20-W push pull. Now power (Allen amps) and new output iron...

I know you all hate PCB's, but it worked out nicely...

Nice amp Talbany..tight indeed.

Wow, is that you're regular conversion PCB? I wouldn't have thought it would fit.
