The story of The Amp Garage
I'm doing a documentary (not really...just this thread) on The Amp Garage.
Who started this thing?
Who is HeeBGB, and why don't we owe him money?
Why does Tom have the most posts?
Who let Miles drive?
Etc.
Because. Awesome.

Re: The story of The Amp Garage
Omar started it. Myself, Allynmey and Jon were the persons responsible for supplying the Francesca pics. At some point Omar asked for help in the form of moderators. I volunteered-big mistake. Shortly after that Omar wanted to step away from the site for personal reasons. He gave it to Allynmey who funds this site entirely. After a while Allyn's business got very busy and he wasn't spending much time here. I asked him to make me an admin in order to take care of daily issues that a mod could not. That is how we got here.
EDIT:There are a lot of people who helped this site in its early days. Some still here others not. Some still come around but not nearly as much as in the early days. Too many people to list though

Omar had a Yahoo discussion site for Trainwrecks in 03 or 04, If you look at the list of members from their start date, you can still see some of us left here.. I can't remember why he moved the site..
I can't tell you how many e-mails I exchanged with Mark back in the early day's
Then came Francesca, and the rest was history....I wish that had come first!!! ha!!! a lot of misinformation back in those days... I stop by here everyday!!! just don't post as much..

Depends on when you call. He's NEVER home.
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

I guess it was a wild assumption that "Tom" was your name and not your title. I stand corrected.Structo wrote:Tom

Lots of folks came aboard here once 18watt jumped the shark. Too many sharts over there ruined the place.
