So, I have been thinking about this for a while. I have seen quite a few amp companies add built in load boxes to their amps.
Currently, my pedalboard has a tube preamp pedal that runs into an IR loader that also has power amp simulation. It sounds pretty good, but I do miss playing through a real cab.
Has anyone built a stand alone power amp with a reactive load and attenuator with a line out?
If so, feel free to drop in links/info!

Weber speakers makes quite a few, but they do not have there own power amp section.

Re: Tube power amp with reactive load/attenuator
Gotcha. So, no one has ever built an amp or just a power amp with a reactive load?
Re: Tube power amp with reactive load/attenuator
Forgive my ignorance,
Are you asking about building an amp with a built in attenuator?

Yes, I am! My OP was about just the power amp section (phase inverter>power tubes) with a reactive loadbox and attenuation built in
