So there is something brewing there. Good to hear. I just hope they will be affordable.

It's a good read. Thank you for posting the link. Unfortunately, we seen promises like this before. Remember the Blackburn brand in the UK? (I suggest Blackburn was seriously under capitalized, among other problems.) I'll root for him, too. He says this summer we'll we'll his 12AX7. It's a short wait. One can hope. It won't hurt to do that.

With the lack of press releases and unanswered queries I had given up on them.
Good news for 12ax7 users.
Now 6SN7's, 12DW7's and KT-88 's will appear in Q3 2031, if ever.

With the emphasis on “meeting the demand of fender” …well that’s shooting for the moon .

I thought it was quite interesting to hear how they are utilizing graphene to extend the life and reliability percentage . 90% approval rating is unheard of from over seas.

I don’t mind getting my hopes up on this one .

It seems like the infrastructure for this factory has far more momentum and gravity than the Blackburn situation. I don’t think the Blackburn factory is actually producing anything , correct me if I am wrong . I remember reading about all of that and nothing taking off, but I don’t think Russia was wilding out so much yet lol

What a great article. Have you ever seen a more beautiful tube than the 300B at the top of the page? (I know, tubes are so subjective! )
Just plug it in, man.

Three guys in gulag talk about why they ended up there:
First one: "I've spoken badly about comrade Popov."
Second guy: "I've spoken fondly about comrade Popov."
The last guy: "I'm comrade Popov."

I want to build a pedal and use 300Bs as clipping diodes.

It'll cost you 6 Amps for the heaters alone.
Sorry they're only 1.5A ea . I was thinking of that giant Russian rectifier 6C336C or some such.

The piece is internet filler propaganda..

Fender LIAR takes the moment to make Fender buyers think they are spending more than wholesale price of the amp on tubes, because Fender cares. Be hinest, if it cost $360 per Twin for output tubes, Fender would be a tshirt company.

Less than hopeful pricing point. I have 1960's Mullards still cranking the jams. I don't want a 5 year guarantee. I need to install and find if they are drifting in two hours. This is tantamout to buying a BMW and having to subscribe to heated seats for me. Eff off

Gotta justify high prices somehow.
Can't admit automation and CCB amp are cheaper to produce.

Buy one shitty tube at 30$ a pop that goes microphonic in a week …or buy $100 tube that lasts …

TAD red base high grade I installed last month is already humming and you can tap sos on the glass and envelope and be heard down the street

whether it’s NOS or new production , good valves just need to be available .

Western is looking to get MSRP: $500+ a pair output tubes. Place your bets.

Worth it? I stopped buying EH when they broke $100 and if a person wants an amp worked on they have to bring tubes. I only work on 4-5 amps a year, so. I don't give tubes away anymore lol

They are going to make $105.00 12ax7s that don't sound like the ones we love.

Place your bets.
