Please check these voltage measurements..

Post by odourboy »

On my 100W HRM 'Funk Build' (with BM PI values). Just completed construction and now tuning and tweaking. It sounds pretty friggin' good, but please let me know if you see anything that looks out of whack. I went through the amp and measured the following voltage levels:

AC line: 122VAC

B+1: 452
B+2: 451
B+3: 423
B+4: 335
B+5: 316

V1a Plate: 185 Cathode: 1.91
V1b Plate: 190 Cathode: 1.80
V2a Plate: 205 Cathode: 1.86
V2b Plate: 208 Cathode: 1.86
PI Upper Plate: 261 Lower Plate: 255
cathodes: 44, R junction 42

Bias: -49V; ~35mA on each 6L6GC

Cheers! Brian

Same ballpark? Pretty dang close. :D

Excellent! Thanks for checking this heisthl. I presume you're happy with the results of your BM build?!
