Post by phsyconoodler »

Here's something off the wall.Would the FET input on a D style amp work with an acoustic guitar?I want to use one for an acoustic and was wondering if anyone does this?

thats the intended purpose.

Now who can give us a reality check, and provide a usability report?

I think it would probably be more useful for the low impedance Gibsons of the era like the Les paul personal/ Les paul recording.

I know Lindley used alot of things like violin and mandolin in the 70's, could be where the ideas came from?

I think I've heard somewhere that one of the original intents was for use with the low output piezo PU acoustics of the time, before built in battery powered preamps. :?:
