What is connected to red marked eyelet?
Is that used only when 0.01uF coupling cap?

The loop connects to a cap which connects to the junction of the 33K slope R and the 500pF treble cap on the HRM. It's either a test point or an injection point...or both I suppose. I could see attaching a white noise generator at the loop and a frequency analyzer at the master volume.
