Hey All,
I would like to be able to kick up the volume level of a #124 style amp via a pot and on/off switch. I other words... I would like a 'solo' control to boost the loudness whether the amp in is the normal or OD mode.
I'm thinking that I would like a pot to set the level and then a relay and extnal footswitch to kick it on or off.
Any thoughts?
Cheers, Mike

Re: Output Level Control
Add another pot in series with the master pot. Lift the ground of the original pot and place the new pot there. Set the new pot up as a rheostat. Now add a switch across the pot to bypass.
With the pot in the circuit you will get a volume jump.

Re: Output Level Control
You could just turn up the volume knob on your guitar for solos.
