Follow this schematic. Note the use of an additional 8R 20w resistor to center tap on the 25R 100w adjustable resistor. The other 25R 100w adjustable resistor has the normal three taps. No rheostat is used on this design which is 50w 8 ohm load.

OK, I see now what was not obvious before.
It is the w/out rheostat one.
Just has the resistor hidden.

What is the enclosure you used? It looks pretty cool, and the plate on top really makes it professional looking.
I need to build a Brake, but am not happy with the aluminum Hammond chassis thing...

Could someone elaborate on the differences in the rheostat vs non rheostat unit in terms of signal quality or operation.
