Re: Effect Pedal building
How does it compare to your other Klon clone?

The Simble is different it allows me to get the Dumble honk tone.
My Zendrive OD doesn't get as close as the Simble.

Sorry Mark, I was mentally referring to the Archer Klon compared to the the other clone you already have. My telepathy skills are no good at all.

Each Klon pedal has it's own character but very close.
I really need to have a pedal shoot out at my buddies guitar shop.

Re: Effect Pedal building
Tried the Simble and Sky Blue OD (side by side with my BSIAB2) with couple of Mad Professor amps. Simble has nice organic sound, but the low end is too fuzzy for my taste. Sky Blue OD was very balanced but little too sterile imo. Great pedals both no questions about it. Very different pedals all three of them.

Very nice!
What is the little board between the pots on the Fuzz?

Re: Effect Pedal building
Thanks guys!
The small board just splits the power up and filters. Has current limiting resistors for the leds, visible and very different values, and then the power supply filtering for the fuzz, 100r in series with the +ve side followed by a cap to ground, i think it was a 150uF. Whether or not the filter was necessary... easier being proactive then having to fit it later.
