Congrats, Marcus, you’ve every right to be proud! Is this proof that a Dumble amp built with off-the-shelf parts and reasonavlble care can sound good enough to satisfy discerning ears? I think so!
BTW, is there a thread that has the dimensions of the cab used?

Congrats! A D-clone builder’s fantasy, fulfilled.
What was the story with his equipment? The Loop-a-lator got to London, but the amps got put on a plane to Norway or something?

Re: So I get a call from Larry Carlton last night........
thanks guys.
@Martin here's the cabinet build thread.
https://ampgarage.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... on+cabinet
I can post exact dimensions when it comes back tomorrow.
Talking to Larry after the show we were talking about the Dumbleator and I said I had one but didn't send it as I thought you didn't like it. He said he didn't like the Dumble one as it changed the tone too much but he likes Brandon's one so he uses it all the time now. I sent him my#102 50w and I also sent the 100w Bluesmaster and I asked him if he'd tried that. He said yes he did try it but he said for him it was too 'sterile' sounding, which was interesting.
I'd seem him play earlier this year and the same thing had happened, his amps got stuck somewhere and he was playing a rental. You could see/hear he wasn't really on it and I was a bit disappointed as it was the first time seeing him live.
Last night was a completely different story, he was completely on it, sooooo dynamic and the amp gave it back to him, it bloomed into feedback at times just beautifully.
The whole band thanked me after the show last night, that goes to show you what a difference a great amp can make to a performance.
I left Larry with a signed copy of my CD last night,
that was a nice thing to be able to do and something I would never have dreamed of as a young man

Great! Thanks in advance for posting the cab dimensions. Can you locate the original build thread? I tried a search, but had no luck. Sorry for all the link requests, but with that, this thread will have all the pertinent information tied in.
After more searching; one? https://ampgarage.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 689&hilit=

Martin you probably couldn't find it because it started life as a #124 build.martin manning wrote: ↑Fri Oct 05, 2018 10:37 am Great! Thanks in advance for posting the cab dimensions. that became

here's a gut shot. It's funny looking back at this, I can see I've made progress at least on my newer amps as regards neatness of build. This one looks a bit untidy however it does go to show that doesn't affect the sound.

So it’s running a 50W Twin PT with 100W reservoir filters (2x220u) and Bassman 50W OT, from InMadOut?

Re: So I get a call from Larry Carlton last night........
yes, with an extra secondary for the relays.martin manning wrote: ↑Fri Oct 05, 2018 12:30 pm So it’s running a 50W Twin PT with 100W reservoir filters (2x220u) and Bassman 50W OT, from InMadOut?
here's the specs.
primary, 230V-240V@50Hz
Secondary HT + bias, 320V-60V-0-320V @ 200mA
Secondary heaters, 3.15V-0-3.15V@6A
secondary relay, 6V @ 1A
horizontally mounted, painted in matte black cover
Plus the;
TUSLO50 (4K4ohm / 4-8-16ohm / push pull 6L6)
vertical mount with 2 painted covers in matte black
And the fender twin choke:
the reservoir filters are 220uF and they're 500w! hence the size, they were an ordering error and really expensive!
