Do anyone have a 5E4 schematic or seen a 5E4 on the inside ?
Is no problem finding 5E4-a and all schematic I have seen that say they are 5E4 ends up to be 5E4-A ( 6V6 not 6L6 as 5E4 have)

And this is every were (so fare ) i's say 5E4 in description but ends up to be 5E4-A

If I recall the Fender model number scheme correctly, the fist number is the decade (5 is 1950's), the middle letter is the month (E is 5, e.g.), and the last number is the circuit (if a -A appears that indicates a revision). So, a model number ending in 4 is the same circuit as the 5E4. The Bandmaster is circuit 7, so no, it's not a Super. A 5F4 Super is an update of the 5E4 Super, with 6L6’s.
