Nice Pics - thanks for sharing. That speaker that says G12-65 Clone in handwritten text looks like a EMI Tonker.

That emi is a one off, according to Anthony at Eminence (as I recall from our phone call) it is a combination of a couple of different speakers. The exact composition eludes me at this point in time.heisthl wrote:Nice Pics - thanks for sharing. That speaker that says G12-65 Clone in handwritten text looks like a EMI Tonker.

For my picture archive, does anyone know the serial of this amp?
Re: Robben Ford's Dumble
Kind of looks like my old IIC+'s, Chris. It may just be huge because of the multi tap primary?chris_sanford wrote:Anyone recognize that huge power transformer?

So it looks like a Z-mount type to you? I can't tell for sure from the pic.

I look at the leftmost two power tubes. I am assuming that black area between the plates of the tubes (which look black as well) must be the end bell of the thing, making this a laydown mains transformer. I am also biased since I think I remember Bradon saying that RF's amp had what looked to be Fender style iron.

Re: Robben Ford's Dumble
It is DEFINITELY a z-mount, looks like a Modern Twin/export, I couldn't make out the ##'s, the OT had a definite schumacher look to it, fwiw.
