How can you tell? It looks like it has send and return jacks?V3 is a Send Buffer!!! Oh no... Quick grab your irons!!
I love my rail tone amp!
Re: Dumble #70 Pics
Nice looking build, the style looks very blackface fender in there.
If it is a dlator it's looks like it got a fixed gain structure on the send /return, those resistor values on the send return jack ?
Also no snubbers on V2.
The universal power switch has something funny happening around the PT.
Was this amp built for a specific player?

First, second and third generation ODS up to around #70 don't have snubbers.nickm57 wrote:Nice looking build, the style looks very blackface fender in there.

Some of these third (and also second) generation amps have been modified at some point and n o t all by HAD (simple reverb, loops etc.).. I've never seen an original Dumble with a built in Dumblelator (but of course this does not say that they don't exist as he is a custom builder).
Cheers

Send Buffer only takes a few parts, cap and a few resistors.. You can see where the coax is attached to the cap on the grid..
A return amp would require a few more parts and would be more obvious to spot.. If you think about it that would be a great spot to put the follower before the master vol there..The red wires laying on the chassis are filaments...Am to assume it was an after thought
