Here's a Link for the 4 part series w/ Henry's Dumble, He's renting it. Doug Doppler is a killer Session guy. He had a lot to do w/ the Rockband/Guitar Hero recordings ( yes I know Guitar hero, what a joke LOL)

Cool Vid!
Interesting to note that the R/J switch is a three way switch with PAB in the middle spot.

I was underwhelmed with the recording quality and overall presentation of the four parts. Nothing grabbed me.

Doppler does a great job!! an in depth demo of the amp and is a cool dude.. He goes through all the pickup configurations on the various guitars demos the FET input..uses different guitars and is a solid player.. I liked the center position of the Jazz Rock that bypass the TS so he says is cool.. The Deep switch doesn't seem to act like the traditional Deep switch posted here maybe converted to the later mid boost..Anyway good demo I recommend it .. Andy's Plush pedal also sounded good.. Nice job Andy..Thanks for posting!!

Re: Doug Doppler w/ Henry Keisers Dumble
So how would the PAB be wired to the Rock/Jazz switch middle position?
Re: Doug Doppler w/ Henry Keisers Dumble
Try it.. If you use the same switches Dumble did you can gently find the spot in the middle of the switch where it doesnt' make contact with either pole and essentially becomes a center off and will stay there .. You can hear the boost effect..Pretty cool..gilgalad101 wrote:So how would the PAB be wired to the Rock/Jazz switch middle position?

I'm in the process of building my first amp, so I can't try it. I wasn't sure if the wiring was different or not. Thanks!
Re: Doug Doppler w/ Henry Keisers Dumble
I don't know either however it does act like the boost on the video.. Those 3 pos switches are generally center off so I don't see how it could be wired any different unless it's a TPTT which I highly doubt.. Good luck with the build..gilgalad101 wrote:I'm in the process of building my first amp, so I can't try it. I wasn't sure if the wiring was different or not. Thanks!

No diff in wiring, even with a standard DPDT switch you can stiil get the boost by tweaking the switch between rock/jazz mode ( you know, like they used to do on the old 3 pos strat switch before the 5way switch came into being). Works on my amp fine, maybe I'm using cheap switchesgilgalad101 wrote:I'm in the process of building my first amp, so I can't try it. I wasn't sure if the wiring was different or not. Thanks!
