i'm sure there is quite a bit ,especially if there is a schematic/layout to go with it

Sorry guys did not mean to dangle a carrot.
My desire to help the group again with my free time left me suddenly after another thread.

As for a schematic....Yeah it ain't that kind of party...

You know though all you guys pining for that should pool some dimes together buy a clone, reverse it, flip the amp and share the pics and schematic with the group.

Only problem I see is that half of those who want a SSS schematic to fall into their also would also moan to high heaven when Nik made one.

Then another portion of the group would moan about how it was disrespectful to show thew work that some other guys stole fair and square...LMAO!!!

Sorry kids I can't help with this one. They done got me to double pinky swear!

I'm using a JCM800 size chassis from the turret board guy (wattstubeaudio) for a SSS/dumbleand kind of amp.

Does that come predrilled, or did you drill it yourself? I would be interested if we could get a run of CE-quality SSS chassis made (powder coated, silkscreened, etc).

RJ's are predrilled, I have one. They are 3/32" thick aluminum, not 1/8". I'll be doing mine reverse Marshall style tubes up, because the iron is too heavy to hang off 3/32" material, if not 1/8" for that matter.

Rewind and edit -- Thanks to Mark Fowler and Zippy for the refocus...

O.K.... first thing this morning I get a note about this post and mis-read it and responded... not quite awake and reading ODS despite the SSS title. My bad and I would think it's sorta funny if it was some other guy. I fear I am living proof that old age and zero capacity to multi-task are over exposed in efforts to be on top of things.

Thanks for the good words guys on the chassis work & parts supplies I offer. I have a great sheet metal guy despite the fact that he occasionally folds an amp model in mirror image.

SSS - It's been so long now that I forgot about that project, it is under a stack of bright ideas that have my storage shed packed to the top with unfinished amp projects. I did make an SSS and furnish chassis and cabinets for a bunch of folks. I must have made a dozen of them because I still have 5 prepunched chassis left and one Blank. I don't know how many front and rear faceplates are left but I know there are a few.

These things are huge... I know a few of you have these and some have even been finished into SSS amps. (In my world maybe some of them have been finished into ODS amps as well)? They are ready for Fender iron, and I think it's possible to use the big Edcor stuff as well. I never finished up any circuit boards but I think I made a few blanks like the ones in the picture.

Anyway, sorry for the misdirection, see if this looks more in line with the original direction for this thread.
