JTM45ish build
JTM45ish build, misc parts...my first try at face-plates...
not sure it's worth the trouble.
Got it mostly done I think
just have to recheck everything and start power up process
hopefully this weekend...
any comments/suggestions are appreciated
Thanks

Darin looks good
For faceplate did you use clear label tape and then cover with clear plexi?
Home made boards and MC iron should rock your house!

Re: JTM45ish build
Hi Mark
Thanks
not sure it will hold up... it wasn't too hard...just a little time consuming
turned out OK nothing great hopefully I'll get better at it in time
really what to start getting builds into head cabs...
easier to stack up
I'm hoping to be able to run it through a 1x12 cab and get decent tones
going to run it into a Tone Tubby Alnico and see.
Darin
Thanks

Nice job. One minor suggestion: Lift the green grid wires up away from the chassis and heater wires to help reduce hum.

Re: JTM45ish build
Your probably going to need at least a 212 for that bad boy.
Re: JTM45ish build
Man, that looks really good Darin.
You certainly have some neat NOS parts there.
Hopefully the m0jo will come forth.
So on the decals, you applied them on the back side?
Then sprayed silver paint over the top?

Thanks Tom
the mustards are 18n(cheaper than the 22's) and all measured on my meter at 20n...hopefully close enough for the Mojo...
so it printed backwards
and then applied the decals on the back and painted over them with silver paint. It's a start...pretty cheap I hope to get it better after a few more
makes me want to get it in a head cab...

Correct I used Word for the labels and flipped it horizontalSo on the decals, you applied them on the back side?

Hi Tom
Work has been kinda crazy this week and its almost "beer thirty"
Really want to power it up but I want to do a good "sober" check first
gonna use the bulb limiter and take it slow
hopefully this weekend I'll get it going

Re: JTM45ish build
Thanks guys
I wish I had the room for a 2x12
got a pair of Valve Art KT66 for power tubes
I've got 2 more Dumble-style builds to do....Gonna see if face-plates will work.
