Hello fellow amp builders!

Post by Gerry Rzeppa »

I've been encouraged by xtian to start posting here, so here I am. I'm the guy who built the "Coppertone" steampunk-style amp he mentioned in another thread ( http://ampgarage.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24934 ). I've got different model up for auction now: http://www.ebay.com/itm/171338846544

Both of those amps, unfortunately, are solid state, so I hasten to add that my original Coppertone model was all tube (see attached photo). And that, again at the behest of xtian, I'll be building another all-tube (or at least a hybrid) model, God willing, over the next few weeks -- with a complete log of the process for any who might be interested. I'll keep you all posted here.

Excellent, Gerry! Glad to have you here. Please post photos of the guts of this amp; that's what were about.

I don't think you'll find one among us that doesn't believe art and amps belong together. I love your art.

Thanks for the kind and encouraging remarks, folks. The project is now officially underway; I've even got the cover for the build log finished (see attachment).
