It's the belt I really need. The oil is expensive but can find it.

Most every town has an outfit that sells parts for appliances like vacuum cleaners & such - they usually have a collection of drive belts of all sorts. Bring yours in & I'll bet they can match it.

Good tip for the belt. I see Some guys just use a rubber band, but I don't think that would last long.
Spokane is good. I'm getting busier all the time here. Seems there was a vacuum here. We moved here to take care of my mother in law. Lot slower than ATX for sure, but that's not such a bad thing as I am looking to retire in a couple of years , just getting a little head start.

OH, Found some Oil and its on order. I popped the lid on the oilcan and it looks perfectly clean inside but not a drop of oil. I oiled the lousy motor bearings and other shaft bearings.
Apparently they made a few different configurations of this thing. different pullys, mine is flat not V. No idler on this one. Single 7199 tube.

Yippee! GOT it working. Got the right oil and used a rubber band.
The big problem was the 7199. Lots of hum. I redid the filament by making it center tapped with two 100 ohm resistors . Then dropped the voltage from the last power supply node with a 1 meg/ 100k divider. There was an unused section of the can cap 25u/50v , I tied the center to that.
No hum at all. And it sounds better than before too.
After a few minutes it gets real quiet now( No noise) But sounds great in a wobblely way.

Hopefully the oil used in these devices do not have PCB's (Polychlorinated biphenyl) in them.

Big time cancer risk from exposure.

I don't mean to put a downer on your reverb that you have been working on, just hope it is safe.

PCB's used to be called the wonder oil as it was non-conducting and a good insulator.

Then it was revealed that it is extremely carcinogenic and it was outlawed soon after.
