I know this is a practice amp but has anyone built one I just saw this unit today?

I saw that one last week, and it looks interesting. I just finished a SS build in a 1x12 combo, but it used a 300W power amp module.

Was going to laugh...but, look! Includes cable tester!

I won't laugh. I've been using a 7-watt Rolls compact utility amp (for PA or whatever) to power a 12" speaker cab, using a Zoom MS-50G as a front end. Has a bit of hiss (poor noise floor) but easy, cheap, good sound for practice.

I order 4 to put together for the grand kids to have in addition to tube amps of course. :)

Got four drawer kits to use as combo cabinets so now I will cut out the baffles for the amp chassis face plate and the 6" speaker hole. Then I can do the cab glue up and round over process.

Funny you should mention drawer kits - I'm about to rfq some head boxes.
Maybe a couple of 1x12 combos too.

I tried all year to develop dovetail and box joints but it isn't happening.

So back to drawer kits, I've made combo and heads out of these drawer kits :D

My basement shop isn't big enough for woodworking & amp building.
The woodworking stuff had to go. I'm too OCD for woodwork anyway.
Then I accidentally acquired a CNC engraver... A big one.
So I'm back to drawers.
Oh well.

Got one dry fit together so I can use as pattern for the other 3 combo's.

Has plenty of volume and will work well for my grand kids.

Those drawer kits are nice, where did you find those?
I just hate building cabinets.

This time I used www.barkerdoor.com rather then Woodcraft.
