Hi folks
This is my first speaker cab and I'm looking for advice on how to attach the baffle.
I've only ever had fender tweed style and dado'ed baffles and I'm finding it surprisingly hard to find clear advice on when searching.
My current thinking is to use t-nuts on the front of the baffle, recessed so they sit flush, and then bolt it on from behind. Is that reasonable?
Thanks, as always for your help

I used to use T-nuts until I found these these:

Thanks guys
Just to check - I’m really asking about mounting the baffle itself, not the speaker.
I’m thinking t-nuts as I can get them easily in a local store, but is that normal versus just screwing?

The baffle board will support the speaker so there's some similarity, yes.
If you can get t-nuts and screws of the good length both of the same thread/diameter/size, you should be fine, if I caught it right.
Those reverse thread screws sound clever, by the way.

Wood screws from the back - I use sheet rock screws with a countersunk hole.
I do closed back which is why there are so many screws. For a combo you could use half as many unless you're doing a floating baffle then only four.

Thanks everyone. I’ll see if t-nuts will fit ok, and if not go for the plasterboard screws. The other parts aren’t so easy to get in Europe it seems.

This double row pattern of wood screws seems capable of supporting any overuse...
I should have mentionned that my cabs (but the tweed one) are bolted from the back with wood screws. Simple and efficient, as you usually don't mount/dismount the baffle board several times.
