I think you're right but like tonelab2 noted, that's a strange place for it. Usually it's seen placed in front of the preamp board near the pots and since this in all likelyhood has the precision power supply, I wonder which cap in the dropping string is taken all the way into the corner of the chassis. Hmm...
I don't believe that amp is a Dumble. The back panel says "OD 100W" on the far right, yet only sports 2 power tubes. Also, the panel "paint" just doesn't look right to me.
Or, I could be wrong......

I think you are right, normally it would have DUMBLE next to the footswitch jack. Maybe that is a funk chassis

That is the runny krylon amp that was up for sale a couple of years ago down in the southeast US Dogears may have more information.
Probably is the REAL DEAL with a rectifier

Why would a Tube rectifier have a shield? they run awfully hot to defeat any possibility of convection cooling, My guess it that it is the first stage filter cap, looks like a Mallory Cap can to me.

Umm, my chassis are quite a bit nicer than that, it looks like a real Dumble to me

I wasn't being disrespectful. I have seen that amp before (now after seeing tthe front panel). I think over at Bill or Ron's sites.
