No clips yet of the ones we have been building.. Dana{ Ur12} did get some good video, although the sound is off the video camera at a live show.. so thats not the best quality.

The band[American Minor] took the amp with them for this leg of their tour,so if you wanted to hear the amp in a live show.. here is where they will be playing.

Now unless its a small venue,he may have to use the smaller amps.

Ok I am hesitant about posting this but I have put together a small clip of the Junkyard Express. I want to preface this by saying that this is a lousey/bad/terible quality recording that was done using only a video camera mic at an American Minor concert. Hopefully this will surfice until Richie and I can get to the studio and do it right. At least it will give you an idea of how the amp kind of sounds. (It sounds much better in person).

Sorry guys but this is the best I can do at the moment. :(

Now how about some of you other guys posting some clips??

wow! I feel like everytime I hear a clip of an Express that has been built right I am just floored. Its the tone I've been trying to get with pedals for years. I am so stoked to get one of these built.

Ahh clips! I just posted this one on the other thread...

Beatles Song That's from band rehearsal.

Then I've got the feedback movie

I also made this movie which is demonstrating the "clean to scream" behavior.
It's just a strat into the amp - all guitar volume control. Clean Movie

Jackie Jeph and Latwinj

Your amps sound fantastic!! It's nice to compare the amps and the way they sound. (yea I know recording media sucks , etc, etc but they ALL sound good in person, Right?) This should prove to the skeptics that you can build a nice sounding TW without having to have Ken build it. I'm sure that Ken might be able to make one sound better but at least I like the way mine sounds and I didn't have to spend $20000 to get it. 8)

All those clips sound great. With regard to KF being able to make it sound better...bollucks!

Look, these are recordings made on home recording equipment with amps that we are so excited to play we don't even try to spend a lot of time cleaning up this transient or that buzz. We spend time playing them! They sound great! Walk into any guitar center or other music multiplex and try to find a better sounding amp. You cant! These amps today have built in chorus, dist. channels, eq, and channel blending to try to get those sound we love. We just hit the power switch! :D I spent probably $400-500 maybe less to build my wreck. Nothing can touch the sound. Even in the $2000-3500 (Can you say "K*met?) :D I found a set of NOS Mullards for $50 on ebay. Matched. The idiot listed them as el34's with Xf2 code. No one saw them. I see people trying to get $25,000 for an express...hahahaha! where do we sign up? Keep up the good work guys.

And Chimeboss, spare me the "tweak" BS I'd put UR12 in a room with KF anyday!
